Madi at cheer competition

In December Madi had a cheer competition at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, TX. Jeremy and I went and took the kids. We stayed a couple of nights thinking it would be a fun little getaway and that we could go Christmas shopping and do Christmas activities in downtown Grapevine. We were so wrong!! It was fun, but we were 100% confined to the hotel because of how long it would have taken us to park if we were to have left and come back. I heard some people talking about how it took them 2 hours to get into the parking area!! There is a show during Christmas called ICE! 2 million tons of ice sculptures are brought in from China bla bla bla. We heard it was amazing, but since Emory was being a little challenging we opted not to go. The hotel also had a Mrs. Claus and live reindeer to get pictures with. Again-we opted out! We sound like Grinches huh? You'd understand if you tried to walk through the lobby with a 2 year old and saw the mass of people!
